Motivation

Programming, operations and other IT tasks can be stressful sometimes. Being greeted by something cute can reduce stress and help to focus on what's important. Also, other screen fetch tools felt bulky, overloaded and heavy.

Description

A minimal, cute, screen fetch tool. Written in Go for Linux and macOS.

Install

  1. Download the binary that matches your OS
  2. Install the binary sudo install BINARY /usr/local/bin/cutefetch
  3. Execute it when opening a new terminal session
  4. bash: echo '/usr/local/bin/cutefetch' >> ~/.bashrc
  5. zsh: echo '/usr/local/bin/cutefetch' >> ~/.zshrc

When opening the terminal the next time, you will be greeted.
